PKS politician died in car accident

A member of the House of Representatives, Yoyoh Yusroh, was killed in a car accident in Cirebon on Saturday morning.
The politician from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) was on her way home after attending her child's graduation day at Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta.
Cirebon Police traffic directorate head Adj. Comr. Edwin said the accident took place at around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, and the car was traveling at a high speed before it hit a road divider near the Tegal Karang toll gate.
Three passengers suffered minor injuries, but Yoyoh died in the accident. Her remains have been brought to Jakarta.
PKS senior politician Hidayat Nur Wahid confirmed that his colleague Yoyoh, a member of the House's Commission I overseeing defense and foreign affairs, had been killed in the accident.
“We've received the news, but I don't know the details of the accident,” Hidayat said as quoted bytempointeraktif.com.
Yoyoh is one of the party's founders. She was born in Tangerang on Nov. 14, 1962. The mother of 13 was a member of the House of Representatives for the 1999-2004 period. She was active in the Indonesian Muslim Intellectuals Association (ICMI) board of expert
